40th Anniversary Flowers
Yesterday we had the honor and privilege of creating these unforgettable anniversary flowers and being involved in a very special 40th wedding anniversary.
The couple had chosen Bella Vita as their venue for the evening. When I delivered the anniversary flowers floral compositions, Bella Vita wasn’t open yet, so I entered through the kitchen in the back. As I passed through the kitchen with the bright and bold flowers, I was able to catch a sneak peek of the head chef preparing the most exquisite salad plates. They were works of art. I’ve only dined at Bella Vita once before, but after seeing the plates, smelling the rich flavors coming from the kitchen and revisiting the menu, I will definitely be making my way back very soon.
The anniversary flowers floral arrangements were comprised of red tropical flowers (antherium) , white ranunculus and plenty of assorted foliages. I added various wire and fiber materials as well.
It was a touching story when the wife first arrived to meet with me at our studio to discuss the event. We talked about the anniversary coming up and what flowers she enjoyed and what she wanted us to create. As we continued to discuss, she shared that her husband has a terminal illness and that this inevitably was going to be their last anniversary. My heart sank. There’s no words to describe how hard that that is. Or what her and her husband are going through. She is a very strong woman and we talked more and got our plan in place. She stopped by the studio once more to finish the details and then yesterday we got to create and deliver these to Bella Vita.
I haven’t heard back from her yet, but I’m positive that they had a wonderful night filled with emotions, memories, amazing food, flowers, wine, laughs and love.

Tropical Flower Friday
TROPICAL FLOWER FRIDAY • Heliconia – Birds of Paradise – Protea – Orchids – Banksia – Craspedia – Hala – Ginger •
This Friday we built and sent out some really exciting tropical flower arrangements across the Wichita Kansas Metro area. This one that we have chosen to feature and share was delivered and showcased at a very special Final Friday Open House Event for a brand new salon in one of Wichita’s best art districts. We are very thankful to know and service the brand new owners, watching them embark our their new journey as they create and grow their business. From Grand Openings to Open Houses, we love being a part of celebrations of other local Wichita business. Displaying flowers at any event sets the tone of the celebration and let’s us all know, that it is a special time. Party Time.

Monday Morning
Another week of bright blooms and exciting foliage and elegant designs begins!
Plenty more preparation for Mothers Day, as well as the beginning of a new and fresh week fills the studio today.
Fresh Holland orchids arrive, along with plenty of colorful spring blooms from South America and California.
We’re building orders fresh for Birthdays and Thank you sentiments along with Happy early Mothers Day compositions.
